DAY 01 BHUBANESWAR – KONARK – PURI
One of our agents will greet you when you arrive at the airport in Bhubaneswar, right outside the exit gate. Simply keep an eye out for a man who seems kind and is carrying a sign with your name on it. The representative will lead you to your vehicle, where you will go to Puri and stop at Dhauli, a Buddhist stupa or peace pagoda, and Pipili, a town noted for its appliqué work. Next, drive to Konark and visit the Sun Temple, a globally recognized historical site also known as the Black Pagoda. Visits to the Ramchandi Temple and Chandrabhaga Beach (one of the best beaches with a lengthy stretch of fine sand and a peaceful atmosphere on the beach) are made en route. DAY 02 PURI – CHILIKA (SATAPADA) – PURI
Darshan in the morning (about 6 AM) at Jagannath Temple (non-Hindus are not permitted).Next, take a drive to Satapada’s largest brackish-water lake, Chilika Lake. Take a boat trip to Sea Mouth, Red Crab Island, and the Irrawaddy Dolphins.By boat, the journey takes roughly three hours. Go to the Alarnath Temple. Next, return to Puri. Visit the Kundicha Temple, Lokanath Temple, Sonar Gouranga Temple, and Bedi Hanuman Temple for some local sightseeing after lunch. Stay the night at Puri.
DAY 03 PURI – RAGHURAJPUR – BHUBANESWAR
After breakfast in the morning, go to Raghurajpur and stop at the Siruli Hanuman Temple, the Sakhigopal Temple, and the Artisan village.Then, on the way to Bhubaneswar, Explore 64 Yogini Temple, Rajarani Temple, Khandagiri, and Udayagiri (Odisha’s earliest rock-cut caves that bear resemblance to the influence of Buddhism and Jainism).Spend the night in Bhubaneswar.
DAY 04 BHUBANESWAR SIGHTSEEING – BHUBANESWAR DEPARTURE
Morning after breakfast, tour of well-known city temples, including Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, and Mukteswar (the Mukteswar temple, one of Bhubaneswar’s most visible, was built in a style closely associated with the Kalinga School of Temple Architecture, which is referred to as the “gem of Odisha (Orissa) architecture”). Visit the Nandankanan Zoo (closed on Mondays) after lunch. The Botanical Garden and White Tiger Safari are the two main draws of this zoo.
