DAY 01 ARRIVAL AT BHUBANESWAR

Afterwards, if time permits, spend a half-day touring the city’s well-known temples, including Rajarani, Mukteswar (a jewel of Orissan architecture), Brahmeswar, and Lingaraj (the largest temple in Bhubaneswar). DAY 02 BHUBANESWAR – MALKANGIRI
After breakfast in the morning, travel to Mundiguda in Malkangiri to see the Bondo and Didayi tribes’ weekly market. The tribe known as Bondos, who reside in the Bondo hills in Odisha (Orissa), are the least developed. They converse in Remo, an accent with a deficiency in the Munda language of Austro-Asian origin. Their traditional attire is the “ringa,” a two-foot-long piece of fabric woven from the “kerang” plant that is fastened around their waist. The Bonda women employ heavy collar necklaces made of brass and aluminum, as well as beads, as essential ornaments. Spend the night in Malkangiri.
DAY 03 MALKANGIRI – KORAPUT
Morning after breakfast Drive to Machhakunda in Koraput district area to visit the primitive Baro Gadaba tribe. Odisha (Orissa) Tribal Tour Goalpara and Rural villages are typical Baragadaba villages. This tribe is culturally and socially more evolved, and have very clean and well-kept homes. The Gadabas believe in strong family ties, and accord an equivalent status to men and women. They celebrate the “Goter” festival with much fanfare, and organize a hunting festival during March and April. Rice beer and Mahua liquor are prepared for the occasion, and the enchanting Dhemsa dance is very much part of the merrymaking. Overnight stay at Koraput.
DAY 04 KORAPUT – RAYAGADA
After breakfast in the morning, travel to Machhakunda in the Koraput district to see the archaic Baro Gadaba tribe. The fascinating Dhemsa dance is a big element of the festivities, and rice beer and Mahua liquor are served just for the occasion. Spend the night at Koraput.
DAY 05 RAYAGADA – CHATIKONA – GOPALPUR
Visit one of the Dongariya villages and the Chatikona market in the morning after breakfast. Drive to Gopalpur in the afternoon. Visit the Gopalpur Sea beach and lighthouse in the evening. Next, spend the night in Gopalpur.
DAY 06 GOPALPUR – CHILIKA LAKE – PURI
morning following breakfast. Visit the Maa Kalijai Temple Island in Chilika Lake on your way to Puri. In the evening, unwind on the golden seashore before heading to your hotel for the night in Puri.
DAY 07 PURI – KONARK – PURI
Morning after Breakfast visit to Konark Sun temple. Afternoon – visit to a traditional painting village, either Raghurajpur, or Khasposak. Visit Puri Jagannath temple and the market area. Overnight stay at Puri.
DAY 08 PURI – BHUBANESWAR
Drive to Bhubaneswar in the morning after breakfast, stopping at Dhauli Stupa and Pipili village. Visits to well-known city temples in the afternoon, including Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, and Mukteswar (the Mukteswar temple, one of the most visible in Bhubaneswar, is constructed in a style that is closely associated with the Kalinga School of Temple Architecture, which is referred to as the “gem of Odisha (Orissa) architecture”). Visit Ram Mandir in the evening, then make your way to a hotel to spend the night in Bhubaneswar.
DAY 09 BHUBANESWAR LOCAL
Visit the Hirapur Yogini temple, the village bell metal foundry, the snake charmers’ village, the tribal museum, and the Udayagiri caves in the morning after breakfast. Visit the Iskon Temple and the neighborhood market in the evening before returning to the hotel for the night.
DAY 10 BHUBANESWAR – DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport in Bhubaneswar in the morning after breakfast. Sweet recollections as your tour comes to a close here.
